Cradle 2 Cradle? Staco by nature…
In het voorjaar van 2011 heeft Staco het Cradle 2 Cradle certificaat behaald voor alle stalen en thermisch verzinkte roosters. Deze certificering bewijst dat Staco "duurzaam" te werk gaat. De materialen staal en zink worden gerecycled en er wordt rekening gehouden met de natuur en het milieu. Het certificaat is afgegeven door MBCD in samenwerking met EPEA. Bovendien is de prijs van de Staco Cradle 2 Cradle gecertificeerde roosters niet verhoogd. Hiermee bewijst Staco dat duurzaam bouwen niet automatisch duur bouwen hoeft te zijn!

Floriade living nature
Staco heeft een aantal Cradle 2 Cradle gecertificeerde roosters geleverd aan de Floriade (Wereld Tuinbouw Expo, Venlo). Deze roosters worden gebruikt als rolstoelopgang bij de rolstoelverhuur en bij de overgang van en naar vlonder looproutes in het park.
Daarnaast zijn de Staco roosters en traptreden uitgestald in de Cradle 2 Cradle bibliotheek van het Floriade Expolab in Venlo.
Cradle 2 Cradle? Staco by nature…
In Spring 2011 Staco was awarded the Cradle 2 Cradle certificate for all steel and hot-dip galvanised gratings. This certificate proves Staco to be a "sustainable" company. By recycling the materials steel and zinc, the company proves to take nature and environment into account. The certificate was issued by MBCD in collaboration with EPEA. Also, the price of the Staco Cradle 2 Cradle certified gratings was not raised. Therefore, Staco proves that sustainable building does not automatically have to be more expensive!

Floriade living nature
Staco supplied various Cradle 2 Cradle certified gratings to the Floriade (World Horticultural Expo, Venlo - The Netherlands). The gratings will be used at the entrance of the wheelchair rental and in between the various walk ways in the park. This makes the park more accessible for wheel chairs.
In addition, the Staco gratings and stair treads are displayed in the Cradle 2 Cradle library of the Floriade Expolab in Venlo.
